In addition, theVariable Radius Compact Flarehandlebar shape (VR-CF) allows for additional ergonomic grip positions. Clean internal cable routing is provided by Di2-compatible connectors, which also allow the Shimano EW-RS910 Junction Box (sold separately) to be mounted in the bar end.

OCLV (Optimum Compaction Low Void)

OCLV Carbon is Trek’s patented process in carbon fiber processing and the result of more than 25 years of bike and component design experience.

The right combination of heat and pressure is the most important step during the manufacturing process (Optimum Compaction). In addition, reducing the voids between the individual carbon fiber layers to a minimum has a positive effect on the strength and robustness of the composite (Low Void).
